About iRadio
Malaysia's first Internet radio station to base its programmes
on modules offered by a university, iRadio OUM has grown
leaps and bounds ever since its inception in April 2007.
Boasting a variety of shows mainly aimed to add value
to OUM learners' open and distance education, iRadio is
the creativity link, bridging education and information
with entertainment in hopes to provide an alternative
outlet for those looking for both entertainment and education
in the worldwide web.
Our programmes range from
module-based segments where we highlight selected modules
and its content, to programmes designed specifically to
enhance the overall quality, not just for OUM citizens,
but the general listening population as well.
iRadio is specially introduced for the campus community.
This is the latest addition to OUM’s wide range
of facilities. Through iRadio, we aim to educate and entertain,
helping our listeners to enhance their knowledge while
having a good time.
